Saturday I was going to be smart. It was 45 degrees and sunny in the morning. I figured this to be the world best opportunity to put up my difficult Christmas lights. I was wrong. After heavily coaxing myself into getting on my upper roof (not too thrilled about the 2 story house at that point) I started putting up the lights at about 10am. After about 45 minutes I had a good pace going and was nearing being half way done. At this point I was feeling brave but needed to take a short break to get a job done. I mentioned to my wife this was much easier than I anticipated. BIG MISTAKE. An hour later when I returned to this project the sun had left me and it began to drizzle. It is amazing how much different 45 degrees feels in the rain and wind. The rest of house took about 5 hours and half my wardrobe (special thanks to Michelle for her laundry skillz). Thankfully after about a 30 minute shower I was able to feel my toes again. I have still yet to fully warm up.
Friday I plan on finalizing my light plan and I will post pictures.
